Problem fix with Windows 8
IF YOU HAVE SKYPE ON, PLEASE CLOSE IT
~If you get an error that says parameter is incorrect~
Step 1: Click Start
Step 2: Click on your name
Step 3: Click "Sign out"
If you did this and you still get parameter is incorrect:
Step 1: Go to your maplestory folder
Step 2: Right click on the client that you want to run.
(In this case, RatchetStory)
Step 3: Click "Properties"
Step 4: Click "Compatibility"
Step 5: Click "Change Settings for All Users"
Step 6: Check the box for "Run this program in compatibility in mode for:"
Step 7: Click the dropdown menu and select Windows XP or Windows 7
Step 8: Check the box for "Run this program as an Administrator"
Step 9: Click Apply
Step 10: Click Ok
If you get an error that says "Unknown Error":
Step 1: Redownload the server files

Step 1: Click Start
Step 2: Click on your name
Step 3: Click "Sign out"
<These 3 steps will fix most errors (ex. could not colonize, etc) >
